These include lesions to the teeth, maxilla, mandible, and attached soft tissues.
This type of oral surgery procedure can be used to treat common issues, such as the extraction of impacted teeth, removal of benign cysts and lumps in the soft tissues and maxilla bones, reduction or removal of excessively powerful braces that are causing aesthetic or functional problems, and many other uses.
Oral surgery in Valencia also includes procedures like gum surgery to improve the patient’s smile aesthetics, insert dental implants, and provide regenerative or reconstructive bone surgery in cases where the patient lacks bone in order to allow for subsequent placement of dental implants.
In the majority of cases, these treatments are performed using local anaesthetic as surgery would not be possible otherwise. In more complex cases, or when required by the patient due to fear or apprehension, treatments may be performed using intravenous conscious sedation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1557389647747{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]At IDIM, we collaborate with expert anaesthetists who travel to our dental clinic. The anaesthetist assesses the patient and if his or her medical conditions are suitable we can perform surgery using intravenous conscious sedation, therefore minimising the patient’s discomfort and unease.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1557396254816{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]
